Local Hospital Spreads Community Message Through Roadside Banners

Marshall Medical spreads their message loud and clear: Wash Your Hands!  When driving on Highway 50 in Placerville and Shingle Springs you are sure to see their roadside banners touting this message.  These large banners may seem simple, but a lot of thought and preparation went into making them as effective as possible.

At 16 feet long, these custom banners use a high contrast of color, black text on a white background, to stand out to the viewers driving by. We often find that a white background on an outdoor sign really helps it stand out from the environment and be more noticeable.  In addition to high contrast, large letter size helps to improve the effectiveness of the signs.  With 15-inch-tall letters, that gives cars driving by just under 2 seconds to read the banner. This may seem like not much time to read, which is why a simple and straightforward message is so important. And Marshall Medical got straight to the point: Wash Your Hands.

The rest of the year, when not in a global health crisis, we enjoy working with Marshall Medical to optimize their hospital signage and produce effective informational posters, A-frame signs, indoor banners and ADA signs.  They work tirelessly year-round to provide care and solutions for their patients, and to improve their community.
